Students can access their DET email anywhere in the worlld. Each student has a log in name and a password.

The DET does not allow students to access hotmail or gmail or any of the free email providers on DET computers.

Use your DET email address. An initial password was emailed to you. When you first log on  the password is personalised.

 

Students can access the college's Clickview Library.

Students need to first access their portal to log in to their email. There is an email from Clickview, providing each student's login information and password.

Moodle

Bankstown Senior College encourages student use of ICTs to engage in course related content and information on school activities. The schools Moodle site supports E-Learning and provides access to learning resources during lessons and outside of normal school hours.

 

Moodle is a Course Management System (CMS) that provides both teachers and students with the tools required to manage, deliver and access E-Learning (learning through an intranet or internet). It utilises many of the tools used in classroom practice that aim at providing and assessing knowledge. Some examples include content resources (text, graphics, video & audio) activities, assignments and exams. Other applications common to internet users include forums, wikis, blogs and games. Moodle can be accessed on any computer device with an internet connection from anywhere in the world.


 

Logging onto Moodle

There are two ways to access Moodle:

  1. From school
  2. From any other location with an internet connection (home, libraries, mobile phones…)
